Development and enhancement of the property commenced in 2013 of native species with particular emphasis being placed on gorse eradication, planting, building platform creation, drainage, access and fencing in order to create a desirable environment to live and play. Large areas of native bush are protected. Margins have been retired from grazing, fenced and planted in local native species.
Jeremy Dillon of Rahopara Farms has undertaken rural subdivisions in Rodney over the last 22 years. Those projects include the Monowai Properties, Palliser Downs and SH 16 subdivisions.
Each subdivision has been designed using local (Rodney) Consultants, ensuring the projects complement and blend into the existing landscape.
